Hello,
I'm long time Blackberry user and I got yesterday as an upgrade for next to nothing the BB 9500 Storm. I'm giving it a try but I don't see myself using it for too long as I consider myself a power user, so sooner or later I'll go back to my precious Bold.
There is one thing that I would love to do and that is removing the Vodafone Live! and maybe the voice dialing as well. I searched the forum and it seems like that in past you were able to delete it from the homescreen ( menu>delete) or go to the usual Menu>Options>Advanced options>applications pick the app and delete it from there. However that doesn't work now. The Vodafone Live isn't listed among the applications and there is no option to delete directly from the homescreen(menu) either.
I remember that I removed in the past some applications by modifying(deleting certain items) of the OS file installed on PC and then running the Desktop manager and upgrading the BB.
Would it be possible to remove the file this way? If so, would anyone be so kind and help me to locate the files that have to be removed - guide me through it?
Again I have BB 9500 running OS 4.7.0.113 (installed yesterday, was told that this is a keeper)
Thanks a million for a help!
