Hello,

I just upgrade my device bold from 4.6 to 5.0
i successful and complete upgrade the os and run well but the can not browse the web and show message " " unable to connect to the WAP Gateway at the following address : "
i have contacted the carrier but they also don't know why.

i also can not install MSN, yahoo messager and other app to this new OS
can any one advise??

Well, the app part of your question is pretty simple, the applications you're trying to install aren't designed to work with OS 5.0, so they won't install.

As for the WAP gateway, are you using the BlackBerry browser? and do you have a BB dataplan?

Yes, using blackbery browser

I already registered BlackBerry data plan before and work well in OS 4.6.
I am BIS ?
With the Blackberry Browser, it did not give me the option to select the Browser, couldnt enabled the access point "Blackberry.net" only carrier so I couldnt connect to any website.

Yes. It is a beta. So nothing is guarenteed to work. Internet browser is missing. You need to read forums about the beta os before you complain about it.

That being said, there are many issues with 5.0 because it is beta.

this is a very early beta, so unless you're happier without your msn, yahoo, facebook, gtalk etc, you can carry on with an upgrade. however.. some people have no qualms with the OS 5.0. because i use facebook, msn, viigo, gtalk, i don't want to upgrade just yet. i'll wait for a more solid beta (if there is such a thing) or an official release.

If you're having so many problems, might i say you should downgrade back to whichever 4.6 version you were using? I am on 4.6.0.237, which i have found to be rock solid.
