Themebuilder is not letting me export my theme to anything other than OS 4.5 - do animated backgrounds only work in that OS?

help please!!

I'd just try it on your current OS, if it does not work consider upgrading to 4.5; I think plazmic only exports to it because the recent changes from Plazmic 4.5 onwards may only be supported by the newer OS's.

oh, I have 4.5 - I was making these themes to sell though, and most people have 4.3 OS.

You could put on the page with the theme "Theme designed for 4.5; Try it on a lower OS at your OWN Risk. I do not accept ANY responsibility if you brick your device."

I don't really think the export OS will make too much difference, the most I can see happening from a theme designer/developer's point of view is some compatibility issues e.g animations not working; just staying static.

No, Can't do that - I won't be the vendor - I've been commissioned to do it by another firm.

And, wrong OS means that it won't install at all - we tried it before.
Although a 4.2 will install ona 4.5 OS but not vice versa.

I don't really have any other Ideas on what you could do. It looks like the current plazmic only exports to that OS.

What about if you have the relevant device simulator installed for the device and OS?
