You could say it's leaked to give users a heads up without the link

Anywhere that I can get steps on how to upgrade to this OS? I just got my Storm about a month ago and can't wait to try out the upgraded OS.

Bullet, if you have a 9530, please do note that this OS is for the 9500

it looks to me like the virus is spreading from places like blackberryos and crackberry....

for some reasons i can't put my finger on, ppl are just not satisfied with running the latest released OS's for their fones....

i did the whole beta and hybrid OS thing over multiple devices and never felt quite as satisfied as i do with an official release.

^ i think its all in your head because every leak it official from rim regardless, its the carrier that makes it "official". and my 131 seems to be running slightly faster than my 122 hybrid and i have 46 mb of memory free after 3 maybe 4 hours

my comment is more pointed towards hybrid OS's....

may-be all in my head, but i know if you have to combine bits and pieces of one OS with another, then you're more likely to run into issues. otherwise, carriers would have been doing the cut and paste thing too....

recently, ppl on blackberryos and crackberry are pulling files from an OS that is not even meant for the storm (a 5.0.x.x OS) and mixing it up with previous and beta storm OS's just to get the "latest" 5.0.x.x running on their phones....for what reason, i'm not sure.

I installed .131 last night. Being using it a little this morning and impressed so far.

It seems snappier and more responsive that .122 and getting close to what I would consider good or normal!

I use the media player a lot and there's a bug where the volume goes very low after each mp3 and you have to manually turn it back up (I only get this with bluetooth headphones - which I use a lot). This has not been fixed in .131.

Memory management isn't any better though, unfortunately - I'm down to 2.5MB free after about 9 hours.

that being said as your on tmobile like me that your gonna have to run a hybrid if you want constant EDGE. i think taking files from the 5.0 bold leak and putting them on the storm is a big waste of time, i find it quite pointless honestly but thats just my $0.02
