Default Anyone using Pocketmac with an 8700c?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm trying and am experiencing some weird issues syncing the calendar to iCal:

-all day/no time events on the mac, which appear in iCal with a little bullet at the top of a day, get turned into *literally* all day events which run from midnight to midnight once I sync with the BB

-new all day events I enter on the BB (which look correct - no time, one day, appear with a bullet in the BB calendar, etc) show up in the *previous* day on the mac.

Any thoughts? I use these instead of tasks so for me it's a major issue...

Yup, no problems here. In fact, it syncs correctly where my 7290 did not.
Quite happy here...

I use PocketMac, but my PowerBook is in the shop. We'll see how it syncs when my laptop is returned.

Hmm, I'm having an email correspondence with their support and have reported the issues - I'll see what they say and report back...from what TRStack says perhaps the issues are limited to the 8700.

Thanks,
TM

I am using it with a 8700r and entourage. Works great. Wish Bluetooth worked, I wrote PocketMac and they say they are working on it.

Thanks Rob. Since I posted I filed a trouble ticket with pocketmac and they sent me two apps - one which wiped the 8700 (through pocketmac), the other which 'reset' my mac as if I'd never synced via pocketmac. They also reminded me to make sure I had the time zones matched.

And it worked! I'm now well synced b/t my mac and 8700. Now all I need is my unlock code and I'll be off and running with TMo

Most people on this post are reporting using a Powerbook, or other G4 processor.

i have an old school ibook, G3 that i have been holding onto forever. Do you think there would be any problems syncing with that using PocketMac? it's still operating OSX tiger?

You found your answer before I could post. When I got my 8700r and synced the first time with Pocketmac and my PB I got the exact same trouble as you. Then I noticed the whole time zone thing. Everything's been fine ever since.
