Hi all,

yesterday i got a msg on my bold when i was using google maps that there is an update for this app.... so i downloaded it, installed it. Since then my google map does not work.

I unistalle the whole app then downloaded it again and installed it. Now it does not even install gmail nor maps.

Is any body experiencing this same problem?

What version of Google Maps were you using? which version did you get the update for?

Did you try a battery pull? it might help.

I had v3.0.2 and i got a msg that there was an update so i updated ... the version was 3.3.38 something like that.

I tried pulling out the battery... nothing. I saw this problem also on the google help forum. i have uninstalled the google app since it is not working.

the latest google maps from the google site www.google.com/gmm
is 3.0.2.
Just tried to re-install to see if there was an updated version, and there wasn't.

wow ok, maybe i haven't used google maps in a couple of weeks. i was on the version that had latitude on it. I believe that's 3.0.2? if you use just Gmaps, why not download Gmaps as a sole program and not an entire google package?

googling brought up this.
Google Mobile Apps (package) has been updated to 3.3.38.
However google maps is still 3.0.2

Thanx for the help all... i just downloaded googl maps and installed it... it works fine. So there might be some issues with the google app pack 3.3.38
