Firstly hiya all got a question for ya this is not my first bb but have had sony's etc where you can flash them to a better model and wanted to know can we do this with bb's as my 8100 good but want it better
You cannot. Are you looking to get WiFi or GPS on your 8100? If so, you can't. It does not have the hardware to support either.

The only improvement you'll get is by updating your OS to the most recent version if you haven't already. The OS upgrades tends to improve performance on existing things with the phone and rarely add additional things that didn't come with the phone in the first place.
