Hey guys,

I just received an older ATT 8100 with the 4.2 OS. I'm not using a BB data plan just so you know. Everything is working fine but when I try to download the Autolock program via Operamini, it wants to access the BB browser which it will not allow because I'm not using a BB plan. I've done this many times without the BB data plan on 8110's. Is there anyway around this?? Will it work if I upgrade to the 4.5 OS?? Any help would be great.

Try to upgrade to 4.5 first. It worked for me.

Not really sure but it's working. I have a general data plan but not a BB data plan.
