Default How long to get unlock code from T-Mobile?

Please Login to Remove!

For the folks who had their phone unlocked by T-Mobile, how long did it take for you to get your code?

Did they (RIM or T-mo) email it to you?

Thanks

Tmobile emails it to you, expect 2-3 days.

If you were to say you about to be traveling internationally, and need it sooner, you might speed that up.

Thanks. I called the last Friday about my traveling situation and still haven't received anything. I guess I'll have to give them a call.

Just called, had it all sorted out. Seems like the person who entered my email address forgot to put ".com" at the end of my email. ;)

Unlocked and rebooted! :D

The same way the government runs auto companies, banks, mortgage companies and the insurance industry,

Not very well.

I've had them unlock like 5-6 of my phones. Everytime they tell you will get the code in 24hours and ask how would I like to recieve the code? I tell them by text, and they say OK.

Only twice, have I received a text from them. The other times, no bullet. I end up calling them after the 24 hour period and they tell me it was sent out, and end up giving me the code over the phone.

Don't know what's going on with that. If you don't get an e-mail or text, call them after 24 hours, they can give it to you over the phone and instructions.

Sometimes within 24 days, sometimes you really have to try very hard (several times) to get it. I hear they are more helpful these days providing it without a 90 day phone use period. It also depends on whom you have talked to on the phone and how you talked to them too.
