Default LED Notification Issue

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I hope I'm posting this in the right area. I've been having issues ever since I updated to the latest OS the other day.

My LED Notification is constantly Red. I've read the apparent fixes already on this, but pretty much it's just to do a hard reset by removing the battery.

Another was to turn off, then on, then off, then on, then off again, the Notifications.

Both of those things worked . . . temporarily. But then the moment I receive an SMS message, there it would be again. It's gotten to where I've had to turn ON the notifications so that instead of a constant red light, there's a blinking green for the coverage.

But the LED Light in any way, is distracting (to myself and others) when the phone is in sight. I can't keep the phone out of sight all the time either. Is there a sure-fire way to fix this issue permanently?

I'd greatly appreciate any and all help. I hope to hear from someone soon, and thanks again!

Got the same problem on a new Pearl.
I have searched the forum for LED reset and LEDreset, but can't find the thread. Can you direct me?

Well I did the search and found it. Only problem though is that the download appears to only be OTA or something because I couldn't get it to even install onto my phone manually (and I don't have data plans to do it OTA).

My 8100 just got updated with the 4.5 OS and my LED indicator is fine until I have a phonecall, it turns red and stays on until I hang up. I also downloaded blingberry and the Pearl Bold theme. any takes on this?
