Exchanged 8900s after corner of screen went bad. New 8900 device switched fine. Re-downloaded App World which was a slightly different version, so I said "yes" to replace. Rebooted, and now getting "App Error 300 (or 200 or 280, It's really too small), RESET".

After multiple resets and a battery pull-nothing. Desktop manager does not recognize it either. What did I do, and how can I recover? Thanks...Jeff.

If you are within your 30 days bring it back for new one. That would be the least painful.

Otherwise have you tried to wipe the handheld or reload OS?

Am working on reinstalling OS. How do you wipe the handheld?

tell it to remove all applications and user data during the OS reinstall,.

The good news is that BlackBerrys are rarely bricked to where you cannot recover them. Wiping/Re-installing the software usually does the trick.
