I have a 8330M and recently upgraded to the .138 MEID software and it works much better except for one wierd thing. Where I used to always have the prompt to delete email messages on my 'device' or 'mailbox and device', I no longer have the option every time I choose to delete. It will give me the option every so often, maybe 8 out of 10 delete prompts will be 'delete' or 'cancel' only

I had something similar happen on my BB. After I upgraded the OS to v4.5.0.77 I lost those delete options on some of my email accounts. I tried for months to try to re-enable the options, i.e. resending service books, changing email settings, etc.

My BB crashed last week when I was installing a program using the DM (Device Mangler ). It deleted all my third-party apps and I had to reload the OS. After the reload, the delete options were re-enabled for all my email accounts.

So, try resending your service books and check your email settings. If that doesn't work, you might have to reload the OS. Backup your third-party apps first!
