I just downloaded MyWeather Mobile from Appworld and can't seem to get it to work. I recieve the following errors upon loading the app: Network not available, and GPS not available.

I went into the application permissions and allowed everything. Any suggestions?

The app seems to be a bit buggy. I got that same message then i waited a bit and tried again and it was fine. The app also has some bugs in the GPS part. So yea i think it mite just be a bug. Also if its still is not working after a bit try a batter pull.

I have written the developer regarding this issue, they said "BlackBerry App World has loaded a test version of our application instead of the final version. We were told by BlackBerry that, within the day, the correct version 1.1 will be uploaded.

If you see version 1.0 then it is still the old, incorrect version. Look for version 1.1 "

I just deleted my old version 1.0.0 from my Bold and uploaded a new version 1.1.0.


The app works great!

I have the same issue. The application works with a WiFi connection, but not on the AT&T 3G network. I tried to get help from their support, but other than "make sure you have a good wireless signal", I received no help. do not get it if you have a BB Bold.

I have a Bold and the app works fine for me. I see the "network not available" issue when I'm in the office and have low signal. I used to have an iPhone and did not have this issue with MyWeather, but the BlackBerry appears to be more sensitive to data download when there is low network signal than the iPhone.

Just my two cents.

Try Weathereye, its a better app and works great!

I have it and I love it.
