Default Storm Addy Book -> Pearl?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all,

I have a storm that is down for the count, just curious if there is anyway to pull my contacts over from my storm and onto my pearl? I have recent backups for my storm, but it will not turn on. Thanks in advance!

If your Storm will not power on, then the Switch Device Wizard will work.

Since you have a recent backup, do the following.

Connect the Pearl to your PC
Launch Desktop Manager
Select Backup Restore
Select Advanced
Click File
Select Open
Locate and select your backup file.

You will see 2 columns. The left being the backup file, and the right being the device. Highlight Address Book in the left column then click the arrows to move it over to the device.

This will only move the address book database from the backup file to your Pearl.

I wish I would have read that yesterday, I ended up using the entire backup file and having to rework a lot of preferences.
