Why is it that when I change my display name on Blackberry Messenger some contacts see it and some see my old name and never a change? I tried a battery pull and some still see the old name.....

I get that sometimes. Click on "set to original" and try to change it again.

In my opinion, the ones where your display name changes, are users who left your display name at their end to the default. The others may have changed your display name. Ask one of those to "reset" your name... this should lead to have their BBM display your name as you have set it.

depends on the persons phone who is receiving the update. Sometimes the updates dont go through on the other end until the next convo and or batt pull

Generally once they reset the device it will fix itself.
