Hey guys, long time viewer all the way back to my 8700C -> pearl -> Curve -> now Storm.

Anyway, my problem is this, when I connect my phone the blackberry device manager sees it no problem, the desktop manager says it's connect. However, clicking on any of the items on desktop manager (sync, media, etc..) just seems to have no response.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and everything. No anyone else have this happen?

And this is helpful how??? I understand that the proper information can be helpful in trying to resolve issues but your presentation leaves quite a bit to be desired. Is it not the purpose of the forum to assist other users? I see your response a belittling.

islanq- The forum is full of posts from other users having issues with DM 5.0. It is new and most likely buggy. I would suggest dropping back to 4.7 and give that a try.

PS: It can be helpful in troubleshooting problems if your device information is correct. The OS you have listed is not correct. If you go to OPTIONS/ABOUT, the OS is the third line down.

Sorry I have been MIA for a while! Busy busy with work and stuff, the problem still remains!

v4.7.0.148 (Platform 4.0.0.181) is what is says my phone is running.

I will try to drop back to the older desktop manager. Thanks!

Nothing is helping, i have dropped back, reinstalled, deleted registry files, etc... It just doesn't help. Ugh, might as well have an expensive brick. :(
