hello my first post..
ok i have a 8110 pearl supplied by my company and get all my work e mails sent to it ,and have my g mail pushed as well.all ok.
but i have purchased [but not yet received ]a storm, 9500 if i pop the sim in from ny pearl will i still be able to receive all above as i did before?
or do i have to change settings?
any help please..

No, your email will not function until:

1. Log in to your BIS account and assign the new PIN and IMEI number of your Storm, so your Gmail will start working again.
2. Obtain an Enterprise Activation password from your company BES administrator and perform an Enterprise Activation on your Storm.

please note, as t-mobile do not sell the storm, it is not guaranteed to work on their network.
I was enquiring about the 8220 that they dont sell and was told I would not be able to get emails on it.
(i dont believe them, as they have the blackberry service, just not the 8220, but there you go)

The previous solutions sure look complicated! I did the same change except from Curve after lost it, so I had a new SIM card as well, I just ran the backup software and ALL my settings appeared on the new Storm (you did backup..right?). I was so pleased as I was dreading putting all the e-mail settings in manually. I had password protected the Curve, so no-one could use it, so I kept the same phone number on the new one. Now this was all in Spain, so USA must be as easy!
