All of the sudden, my battery life in my 8130 is TERRIBLE. I am talking maybe 50% in like 4 hours. I removed all applications and have rebooted the phone numerous times. Any idea why all of the sudden my battery life would turn so bad? Normally the phone is charged overnight I use it OFTEN during the day(mostly emails) and by the end of the day it is maybe at 80%. now I need to charge in the middle of the day or it is at 20% by the end of the day. Any ideas?

The battery is original to the phone which I got when the Pearl 2 was released at Verizon. Probably just under 2 years or so. (I can't remember exactly when I got it).

There are no programs running other than the usual stuff that you can't close. The battery has drained 15% in one hour. I have only opened maybe 4 emails in that time. Nothing else.

Maybe this is my phone's way of telling me I need the Tour.

Well. A new battery is between $20 and $25. Worth the investment
