Do you mean it likes to shut down by itself? Do have a media card? If so remove it and see if that clears your issue up.

I would try an OS update. If that doesn't resolve your issue, then I'd try to replace the battery. If it still doesn't resolve your issue, then it appears you have a bad device. Process of elimination.
