Default Seperate new email indicators

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all, simple question:

I have a work email and gmail setup on my blackberry flip. How do I set one icon for new gmail and one icon for new work mail. Seems like a straight forward thing but I cannot figure it out.

I don't want the blackberry to beep or vibrate for a new email, I just want to be able to hit a button, view the outer screen and see how many new gmails I have.

I notice that there is a different icon for SMS messages and emails so it is possible. Even if I could set new gmails to display that text icon it would be better than how it is now.

Thanks

If you are looking in the Messages folder, there is no way to do that, as all messages go to that folder. However, there should be separate folders for each email account.

Your best bet would be to use the Gmail app. It will keep the mail completely separate from your BES email.

On the other hand its like a step backwards because it won't tell my blackberry when I have a new email.

Actually you can set up notifications for the GMAIL app. You would at least get an audible notification.
