Just upgraded VZW Tours to .53. Runs much quicker, browser seems fast as well as maneuvering around the device. Looking forward to testing battery life over the weekend.

I have Sprint Tour 9630. I downloaded the link from JSanders above. I did not delete vendor.xml as stated in some posts. I checked the RIM folders on my computer and only had one OS -- the one that I downloaded and installed. I plugged the BB to the PC, and ran my Desktop Manager. It found an update and offered to update my BB. I allowed it to. It did warn about me needing to activate it after installation, which I said ok. It did a backup, installed stuff, restarted my BB twice. I checked version and it shows .53. It did ask me for permission to allow ponyt access the internet. all my icons on the desktop are kept the same. All my applications are still there.


I hope I explained the steps I used, which was pretty much routine.

I reduced my horizional sensitivity from 90 back to 80 (I was having trouble with left-right scroll like most of of you did).

Now, I will see if anything improves. Ill let ya berryheads know.
