Default worldmate app apn

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, i have downloaded worldmate but my carrier, three.co.uk is not listed for the APN. I have tried manually adding the APN but it won't work. I use the APN in the gps successfully so i am confused! Does anyone know what to do?

Do you have a blackberry plan? Worldmate likes using IPPP for BIBS on BIS and can detect BES and/or APN settings without being manually selected.

The list of carriers is the manual config option. What's the result of the automatic configuration?
What do you have under Options -- Advanced Options -- TCP/IP?

I am on three.co.uk and the TCP settings are three.co.uk and enabled, the phone has other apps including a navigation app and it works well.

When you are in Worldmate, hit the menu key and go to settings. Scoll to the very bottom to Connections. Click on it and click on Automatically detect settings. It should pick what is best for your phone and now you should be able to download. Test it out on the weather.

Funny enough, i was struggling with this but realised that the app is working, it just says connection failed but in fact was working with the APN i gave it.
