Default My 8900 is running soooo slow?! Why?!?!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys.. My 8900 is about 2 months old and has a 1 gig mini SD card.

It's mainly my texting.. it lags and takes forever to open a text or to open a menu option.

Any idea on what could be causing this? How could I fix it?

Thanks!!!!

Close apps if you don't use them.

Is this only happening when trying to SMS someone? If so, is it with one or a few contacts? If so, are these contacts that you SMS frequently?

Also, could you update your profile with your current device. It will help others help you with future issues.

Hey guys.. I updated the OS, did a hard restart and cleaned out all my SMS messages and that fixed it.

Hey I was having the same problem.
I had something like 700 texts in my BB so I deleted them and the phone no longer lags.
I would reccomend everyone week to two weeks delete what you dont need in your sms inbox.

Hope that helped.
