Just e-mailed my Verizon rep to order a new Storm and he replied by asking if I want to wait for the storm 2 which is about a week away! Can't wait!

That's when the first Storm came out! Right before Thanksgiving last year! I guess many thought that the Storm was such as disappointment that RIM had to quickly come out with a second version of it to keep folks interested...

I've gotten used to having to pull out my battery at least twice a day!

For some reason the Storm 2 (9520) is being released 2 days earlier here in the UK than in the US.

My Vodafone 9520 is being deliverd by courier today.....I am just waiting for the van to arrive so I can play with my shiny new toy!

Question for everyone. In the event that Telus does not release the Storm 9550 can I purchase a Verizon phone and unlock it to use in Canada?

Storm 2 is already in sales in Canada. You can go an buy one.

Where? As far as I know it will be Telus that will carry the 9550 and it won't launch at least until November 5, 2009.
