Problem syncronizing two bb devices on same pc
Please Login to Remove!
Hello,
I like to get some help on this matter. I owe two Blackberries, one fore the Nextel Service (8350i) and the other one for the normal cell carrier (9000), since I use the Nextel Radio Service a lot, but this carrier does not have as good area coverage as the cell carrier.
I would like to synchronize both units under one Microsoft Outlook program. The problem is that the Nextel unit has the “Direct Call” field, which does not appear on the Bold unit. Every time I tried to make the sync, I loose this part of my contacts data.
How can I fix this problem and have a copy of my contacts, calendar notes, etc, on both devices?
I use the version 4.7 BB Desktop manager and Windows XP.
Regards,
Mike Enriquez

Try plugging one up to DTM with the USB and do a wireless sync on the other device..

Russo, that is not the answer.
Basically, you can't. Direct connect isn't a field option on the Blackberry 9000. You cant use direct connect on the 9000, so that field is irrelevant.
its never going to sync over.

I'd say I'm surprised, but I was expecting it to be wrong.
Next time it will be right and I'll point blank state its wrong, without reading it. :P

It is irrelevant, because you cannot use it on a 9000.
It doesnt exist.
You cannot do what your asking.

No i don't.
You can sync your contacts/calendar whatever, between devices, but as the 9000 doesnt have the Direct Contact field, that info will not be synced.
You cant add that field to a 9000.
All you can do, if type manually the number into the Home/Work/Mobile field if you need that direct connect number.
(Though I don't see how a direct connect number would work on a 9000 that does have direct connect)
