This message showed up in my BIS: To start contacts synchronization with your BlackBerry® device, complete the security activation on your device:
1. In the Setup folder, log in to the email settings application.
2. After you log in, the security activation starts. By completing the security activation, wireless synchronization of your contacts entries with your device automatically begins.


what if I dont want to do that? What contacts will it sync? I dont want it to sync all of gmails contacts. Would it only be syncing the "my contacts"?
