How do you reboot? What if you do a hard reset? That is, remove the battery for about 30 seconds.

Okay well anytime I reboot my phone it's with a battery pull. Only problems I noticed I've been having with the phone is App World seems to freeze the phone. I'll use the search feature and see what I can find.

Okay I wasn't having much luck with the search feature trying to find something about this particular error. The phone does seem like it gets a little bogged down. I tried backing up the device and restoring it from the backup but I'm guessing I might of just been restoring the error along with everything else. Tried a battery pull and left the battery out for at least a full minute and I'm still getting the error.

At Options > Status, what is your File Free?

Also, at Options > Advanced > Applications, what third party apps do you have loaded?

Google the exact error message. Try Bing, too.

Another tip. Go to blackberry.com and do the same thing. Search on the exact error message.

I'm curious but too lazy to boot up the 'puter and do it.

If still no luck, think about the last applications you installed. Also any third party themes. Perhaps delete the last one or two you installed and see what happens.

Another tip: Sometimes, I won't say it is often, but people have reported a a third or forth battery pull is the charm. That's worth a try before you start on more involved solutions.

Okay so I just gave up and tried to install the 5.0 operating system on the phone and BBM, Windows Live Messenger a couple other things didn't wanna work right so I tried using the Desktop Manager to reinstall the older recommended version which was like 4.7 and I got some fatal error while it was restoring the device. I'm not having luck finding the actual operating system for a Telus Storm just the Verizon operating system posted here. I'll keep looking but if someone could help me out with a link I'd appreciate it.

Just curious, did you uninstall app world while you were troubleshooting? I wonder if you did, and then still had the error afterward.

About the OS, did you look on the Telus website?
