Question I'm a RETARDED MONKEY

Please Login to Remove!

Anybody know the steps to retrieve or reload the browser and javascript applications for an idiot who accidentally deleted them off my Blackberry 8700? That idiot would be me.

Download the latest 8700c Handheld OS from Cingular and execute the downloaded file.
Locate and erase "Vendor.XML" from the C: drive on your PC/laptop
Restart Desktop Manager and Application loader and it should prompt you to reload the OS.

Good luck.

how quickly you forget...I'M A RETARDED MONKEY. I've searched the Cingular site and can't find the 8700c OS to download. Our IT guy at work suggested I reset the phone and then re-install the startup software, however, there's no reset button to be found and yes I've looked under the battery and SIM card. Of course Cingular techs don't have an answer and subscription fees are attached to Blackberry support. Perhaps I should hide under my bed in the fetal position, suck my thumb, and cry like a beyotch while listening to Mozart's Requiem.
