I used to have an 8330 curve with a different carrier. The e-mail set-up is different with the new 8530 and different carrier(Verizon).
Can anyone help?

Email set up is the same. Read the FAQ. There is an article there on how to set up email. You must have a BB data plan, however.

What do you put in for "mailbox name"?
Is this your username or full e-mail address.
I did not have to fill in this with my 8330

What type of e-mail acct are you setting up? Does it use Outlook Web Access?

All I am trying to do is set up an e-mail acct such as a hotmail acct. and a e-mail account for work in which we use Exchange. Do I have to do something with the PIN and some other things before I try to do this?

Hotmail might not work. There have been issues in the past with Microsoft. Might want to try a search.

As for the exchange account, do you allow POP or IMAP access?
