Dear All,
With Christmas approaching and Mega Sale on all Empower apps going on, we are ready with a new application - "Screensavers". It works just like any screensaver on your Windows Desktop.

Currently, we have the "Star Field" screensaver to start with. More screensavers will be released later. I look forward to test this app on different device models and Carriers so that we can go live in the New Year!

Screensavers is compatible with all devices running on OS 4.2.1 and above. If you are interested in testing this pre-release app please install it OTA from http://www.getempower.com/beta/screensavers/

We are just about ready to go and would like your feedback for the final round of testing. Let me know your suggestions and feature requests if any.

I would also like to know what other Screensavers you would be interested in.

It installed successfully on my BB Tour 9630 and runs great. I have always wanted motion backs/screen savers for my Blackberry s but I know they are probably great memory and battery drainers. I will attempt to watch the numbers and battery to see what might happen.

Here's a list of suggested SS.

It installed and is working on my Bold. One of my all time favorite screensavers was the dropping marbles from the after dark series.

I have never had that screensaver myself, so I am not sure what it looks like.. But it sounds good.. Do you have any screenshots or any links so that I can see if its possible..

Since yesterday, all the features worked as expected. With my Tour, there have always been issues with the keyboard lighting so when I put it into my charger, the screen saver worked as expected but the keyboard light remained on. I have it set to 'when not charging enable'.
Also noticed no visible lag or excessive memory loss. )

Don't have any pix of it. After dark was a screensaver suite back in the 90's. do a web search for after dark screensavers and you might be able to find something.

im having problems with this app in my 8900. it instaled just fine but when i click save i go to my home screen and nothing happens. I have the permisions set to allow all three of them. any help?
