Default T-Mobile pricing plan change looks Dark for Blackberry users

Please Login to Remove!

Last week, I could have added an unlimited line to TMO for $30/month in addition to my primary line at $50 unlimited voice. The BES Blackberry service would be $30 each, for a total of $140, subsidized phone or not.

Now, under the new "Project Dark" T-Mobile Get More pricing, it looks like that costs $99 for unlimited voice plus $45 each for BES, or $189 with a subsidized phone (and $170 without).

Certainly looks Dark to me.

Yep. Definitely a downgrade for loyalty customers.

One of the reasons I don;t bother with the BES. Also one of the reasons I am considering switching to ATT.

Those are some crazy prices! I have BIS on Sprint, 450 minutes (and free "any mobile calling"), unlimited data and messaging, all for $54/month after my discount. Because most of my calls are to other mobile phones I won't even come close to using my 450 minutes.

Sprint has some killer rates. It's a pity they don't have a decent upgrade program.

I get a $150 credit (same as new customers or normal cuatomer 22 month upgrade) each year with Sprint since I am a premier customer (acct is over $100/mo). What's TMo's upgrade policy?

1. You don't have to be over $100 a month
2. Discounts are typically more than $150 off retail

Both AT&T and T-Mobile here sell BlackBerry Curves for free w/ contract. I know, 'cause I've been shopping around. LOL
