Default SIM Card Error

Please Login to Remove!

As of late, my phone keeps saying SIM Card Error and not giving me any service. I restart my phone , and it is okay for a few minutes then goes back. I tried taking the SIM out and putting back in, etc and it doesn't do anything.

Any suggestions?

Are you in a humid environment? This happened to my phone when I was travelling and as soon as I got to drier places it fixed itself.

If not, then try cleaning the contacts, and maybe see about getting a new sim.

I live in Michigan. The only thing I can think of (while not humid) is I left my phone in the car for several hours like 2 days ago when it was pretty cold.

Anyone?? Still not working.

It said something tonight about "Radio being off" and I can only save drafts of messages.

If your battery is low, it will automatically switch the radio off i.e. mobile network.
Just go to manage connections and put it back on.

Wirelessly posted

dj, what about going to your service provider and getting another SIM? Have you done that? What's the story there?

Regarding the radio notification, ditto to what Draven said. Do that and post an update?
