I'm not sure if this exact problem has been discussed in the various AvantGo threads that have run through here, but I can tell you this: AvantGo for BB has no discernable similarity to AvantGo for Palm beyond its name and that fact that, in some form or another, it handles the web pages set up in your AG acct. So you're not missing much. (Unless I am!)

Has anyone ever arrived at a solutions for the AvantGo "stuck on the login screen" issue. I'm experiencing it on my 7100g. I was previously able to login and am not sure what has changed. Any thoughts?

The Avant Go install on the BB only puts a direct web link in your main menu. Other than that, it uses the browser. I had the same problem you had when I first got my BB, because I didn't have a good browser installed (mine only had Cingular's crappy mMode). Once I got the BB Internet Browser installed and working, Avant Go was fine. Look through the browser threads if you're missing it.

And I disagree about Avant Go not being great on the BB. It basicaly lets you create your own portal to the sites and stories you care about. Plus, you can be sure that all the sites you choose are properly formatted for the mobile device. I use it all the time now.

Thank you! Once I updated my browser, I was set! I agree w/ you about Avant Go. I think it is a great resource for the BB. All of my favorites right there w/o having to spelunk bookmarks, small sites, or type in URLs. I'm a fan and have been since my Palm Vx days.
