Hello,

i just tried the BB JDE 4.7.0 for my BlackBerry Curve 8900.

According to post 56663 ("Attempts to access a secure API") from 12-05-2006, 04:40 AM,i understand that i cannot program my own applications if i don't pay some 100$ a year to RIM for access to the signing server.

Is there no way to sign my own programs for my own phone with my own key, or to just switch this weird need for signing off?

i think its not 100$ a year.
its just 20$ one time payment.
and its not costly. after that you can run your application in any number of devices.

OK, i just applied for it, hope the keys come soon.
But if i have the key, where can i put it?
I use the BB JDE 4.7.0 but there is no input for a key. How does it work?
