Default Help: My Blackberry won't turn on!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,
I have had my Blackberry 8330 Curve for about a year and today the phone just died and I can't turn it back on! I tried recharging the battery but that still didn't solve the problem. When the phone is plugged into the charger the red light shows up but that's it, nothing happens! Can I get some help on what the problem is? Is my battery just dead and I need to buy a new one? Thanks.

Oh thanks a lot! But also now that I've left it to charge for awhile a white screen appears with a battery with a lightning zap across it. Does that mean the battery is dead?

Doesn't that mean it is charging?

If that means it's charging then shouldn't I be able to turn the phone on? Or does it have to charge a certain amount before being able to be turned on? Thanks for the reply!
