I synced the BB without choosing an AB. After the sync the BB's address book was empty.. I then went into the BES and chose the correct PIM Sync Address folder to sync. It has been over 15 minutes and still nothing is showing. How long will this take to populate?

Wireless Sync is turned on.

It's roughly a 4 hour interval from GW down to the device. You can force the sync (assuming the BB has no valuable entries) by going to the Address book>Options, roll over Desktop but don't open and type rset. You can see the sync times in the GWPA log.

Turn off Wireless Reconcile in the Address Book on the device.
Go into Address Book > Options > scroll to the bottom and type RSET
Enable wireless reconcile and this should force the device to sync the selected address book.

I am doing this now and nothing so far. I followed jsconyers exactly. Should it be instant?

No, as raindownsugar stated, it could take up to 4 hours.

I thought the rset was forcing the AB and not waiting the 4 hours. So whats the point of the rset?

The RSET is not necessary in your case as your address book was empty, it resets the address book leaving it empty. I just do this out of habit when I resync address books, given they're hardly ever empty.
