2. On WiFi, YouTube videos will not play in the BB browser. I get the "Loading" message and it just stays there. They play fine on EDGE.

I just checked Facebook on my 8900, and I get "No stream post available" on either WiFi or EDGE. Since I've had the beta version of .461 for almost two weeks, and haven't seen this problem before today, I'm thinking there's some problem at Facebook's end. Anyone else seeing this one? (Or the others mentioned?)

yeah! i keep getting all sorts of errors w/ facebook. then, for about 10 min this afternoon, i got to confirm a friend request and post on somebody's wall.
when they replied, i got the notification but when i went to open it, facebook app launched and told me that there was an error contacting the FB server.
restarting did not fix this.

Also noticing that this release takes a bit to come out of standy (Black screen) when out of the holster clock comes up and takes 10 seconds to come on.
Anyone seen this?

Yes, now that you mention it. I haven't clocked it at 10 seconds, and it doesn't do it every time, but I've definitely seen this behavior enough times to notice it.

edit: I see the Facebook problem is being discussed in another thread, and may be caused by the changes made to the Facebook layout.

Might be more like 2-3 seconds, and it doesn't do it everytime for me either.
- Thanks "somerandomguy" password suggestion worked like a charm.

I've read several people who didn't touch their BB's today indicate the Facebook app is broken at the moment due to the new site layout.
Maybe RIM was screen scraping.

Wirelessly posted
Misho, a while back you used to be able to lock your device w/ the button even though you didn't have a device password. From what I gather, this is not the case anylonger _ you need a password to use the button.

AFAIK, you are not wrong. hopefully somebody else can give a definite answer...
i have a device pasword and my auto lock is set to 2 min. My password is short (but hard to guess) so i dont mind entering it every time i need the device unlocked.

Just upgraded, went perfect. My new custom theme "Scroll Today" came back up and all icons were still in original spots. Only some resigns into a few third party apps. Seems quicker between screens then .411. I have none of my original downloads in BB App World. That did not happen when upgrading to .411. Although, my downloads stayed on the home screen in original locations. I have 10mb more free memory. Wifi and UMA still work as before. All in all as expected for a small numerical upgrade. Will see how it goes from here.

I don't remember this happening on .411 upgrade, but when I just went to sync my Outlook Calendar and BB Calendar thru DM, it wants to now sync all 216 entries from Outlook to BB not just my recent changes from today. I sync every night, so only a handful of changes need done. Will I get 216 duplicates, or is this normal on a post upgrade sync. All sync settings are same as before.

I commented on this in the beta thread, so I'll mention it here too. For me, UMA call quality is still sub-par, as it has been on every OS 5 version I've tried so far. .238 and .411 were unusable, but .461 is merely poor. I have no idea why this is so, and others don't seem to be experiencing the problem.
