OK,

When the battery gets less that 5% it disables the use of the phone as well as internet, text message, etc... It says battery to low for radio use. Is there a way to allow radio use until the phone just dies. Once is gets below 5% the phone is useless without being able to make calls or at least text.

What do they expect you to do with the other 5%. Play games? LOL

I would like to turn this feature off is possible.

nope its encoced into the OS its so you can still use the device for calendars and other features

It actually can harm the battery to completely drain it.
