I'd like opinions from people using 5.0xx OS on their unlocked 9530 on T-mobile which is the most stable with EDGE and least buggy. I'm using 4.7.0.148 and I get EDGE just fine, no problems at all but I want to upgrade to a 5.0 OS but I don't want to run into any issues with data or anything. Thanks, apprecaite it.

I have my 9530 running fine on 5.0....i found the EDGE holds a little bit better than most OS out there, but i love how much snappier and stable the phone feel. I dont think you will have any problems with it. IMO i would tell you to give it a shot, i couldnt imagine going down to 4.7 after having 5.0 ruinning on my storm with t-mo

What 5.0 os are you running? .419?

.419 on 5.0 for a while now on T-Mo, no issues to report. Better data signal since the upgrade, stable EDGE connection
