Selling my Alienware M17x, a little under 3 months old, looks like new, the laptop is scratch and ding free if you see anything in the pictures its just smudges from my hands, the computer is covered under complete care warranty from dell which covers you from basically anything plus is completely transferable to the new owner. Computer has never had any flaws or defects, just selling it because i built myself a gaming desktop so i do not really need this laptop anymore.

Dell has this machine with very similar specs, brand new, for under $1800.00.

this computer sells for 2400 on dell new. It has 3 graphics card inside of it, one integrated and 2 dedicated with 1gb of memory each. Theres only two laptops currently available with sli configuration and this is one of them. Also the laptop has complete care warranty which covers it from any type of damage such as spills, drops, theft, etc. Plus its not even 3 months old. I have the same thread on notebookreview.com and people actually think im selling it for too low

I aint doubting the "powerful" side, but I can get some good specs for less price. Especially with the new iCore processors. How long ago you buy it?

Thats tru the i7 and i5 are better, the problem is that if you get it with one of those porcessors then you have to get the ati 4870 graphics card and by only getting one youre already paying about 2100 and if you get 2 then you will be paying about 2500. Plus the new i7 and i5 processors suck power like crazy, the alienware M15x doesnt last more than 1hr and 30 minutes in power saving mode. Mine lasts about 3 hours when power saving is on.

I bought it decmber 4th and recieved it december 16th, so the complete care warranty will expire dec 16th since it stats the first time you boot up your computer

Personally, I dont buy gaming laptops, their too big and bulky and I know ALIENWARE is if not the best gaming systems customizers out there. Still the price is a bit high.

Good luck selling though.

The iCore's ye do suck more power while thier operating, but thats the whole point of the new "SMART SYSTEM". It shuts processors off when they aint needed. Lol unless we take a house electricity test you'll never know.

i know it turns the cores off while theyre not in use but at the same time it overclocks the other ones, they are known for killing battery life
