Welcome to the forums.

You need to add the BlackBerry Data Plan on your account. You can do that ball calling o2.

that is totally out of order, why let me use a work email address and not my personal one. I find that very strange, im paying £25 per month for this phone and i can even get my emails. I think i might be sending it back. total waste of time and money.

thank you so much for you help

You can't get your work email either.

You should have done a little more research prior to making the purchase.

i would have thought with it having internet access and me being a monthy billed customer i would have been able to use all the features.

I am able to get on the internet with my bb and use facbook etc.. i just find it rather odd that it all. These days mobile phones wouldnt be such a pain in the behind to use email and other features.

Wirelessly posted

Welcome to the group, magi.

Just to be sure, let me ask, are you paying for blackberry data service? I gather from above, maybe you are and don't realize it.

I have no idea sorry, i orderd my bb online on the carfone warehouse wite. As far as i know the only extras i get per month are 300 min and unlimited texts to all networks. i have looked but can find no information about data plans, and i never said anything when i was taking out my contract and also had no idea i would maybe have to buy one.I just assumed with it having internet access as most mobiles do these days i could just access email etc.. that way. Its not from a work company, just my personal use. so maybe i have been giving the wrong sim or something. Im am going to contact o2 this morning and find out. so i will keep you all posted.

thank you all so much for your help, sorry im being a pain. You regulars on here must get sick of people asking the same questions.
