Title says it all. In options -> advanced, I have the option for enterprise activation.

I'm on a BIS plan, though.

What would happen if I tried to enterprise activate?

Some devices ship with the Enterprise Provisioning service book.
You can't use it unless you have a BES to activate on.

Well I've been thinking about getting a hosted BES account, and if the option is enabled, I would wonder if it'll work... maybe save a little $

Thing is... I've had this BB for quite a while and it hasn't always been there. Hrm.

If the hosted BES provider uses BES Express 5, then it'll work.
If the provider uses full BES, then it won't work.

Gotcha. Crap. I guess I'll need to wait for Google to release an updated Apps Connector that (hopefully) works with BESX.

BES is preloaded in service book. BES usually owned by the corporates, once your corporate own a BES infrastructure then you can configure your corporate mail accounts using this BES mail configuration.
