Default Unable To Connect To Own Bbm Group

Please Login to Remove!

ANYONE HAS A SOLUTION.

I created my own messenger Group with password, etc. There are 26 members in it. I just updated my OS and now I am unable to link back to my own group. I have the Barcode but still it says unable to link.

I GET VARIOUS MESSAGE AS BELOW:
  1. INVITATION EXPIRED or used by someone else.
  1. Group exceeds the limit of members. (whereas there are only 26 members and 30 are permitted)

Please can someone help and suggest a solution.

No one else in the group is an admin who can issue you an invite?

Before my last update I made everyone in one of my groups admins just to prevent this issue.

Downgrading the OS won't fix the issue for the OP.

He just needs to recreate the groups and start anew, invite all the members to the new group and have the last one out of the old group delete the old group.

so that I may learn, did the OP's upgrade simply change the admin attributes of his self-created group? If so, why would the functionality of a core app like BBM be changed by an OS upgrade?

thx

The functionality wasn't changed with the OS upgrade, the functions are all the same.

After his upgrade, the restore to his BBM Chat Group didn't get restored (why, I don't know, it happens) and therefore he can't re-enter the group without an invitation. He didn't have any other members of the group with Admin status able to invite other members into the group.

Same as leaving your locked house without the door keys. It's not a bug, it's just simply leaving someone else with the keys while your gone.

Great analogy, BTW, thanks. Great to know prior to updating, as I'm about to do. Glad I stopped here first while backing up.
