Default Stopped receiving SMS'

Please Login to Remove!

Friends,

I stopped receiving SMS'.

Rebooting BlackBerry, all SMS's were received. What could have been causing SMSs to not be received? Could it be astrasync syncing? How can I avoid this happening again, troubleshoot without rebooting it why SMSs not being received?

Thanks

Is this problem still happening or did it happen just that one moment?

SMS is a carrier/phone service, not RIM or data. Could have been a carrier outage, tower problem, a phone problem, any number of things.

Thanks, guys. It happened just once. But ended up causing me problems, as I had a server outage and didnt receive the SMS. Im afraid because a simple boot of the phone fixed it.

So I was wondering what couldve caused it. Its like phone was somehow shut to receive SMSs... I might have to make a batch file to send a test SMS daily so Im sure its ok :( Or send SMS to 2 phones for redundancy. I never had such issue with other phones...

Could it be astrasync which was active? What couldve caused it... Was not operator, that was fine, proof as soon as I boot it, I got all SMSs.

Tks
