They would need to share one calendar. The BlackBerry can only sync with one calendar at a time. As long as your boss and the owner both have read/write access to the calendar it shouldn't be a problem.

I think that the blackberry can only sync *wirelessly* to one calendar. If I'm not mistaken, you can point it to multiple offline calendars. At least I hope so! :D

Here's a tickler for you:

Will we ever be able to open another user's calendar, as opposed to a shared calendar hiding in the public folders?

Would someone please care to to help me figure out how my associate and I can share a calendar? We have hosted BES, Outlook 2003, a 7290 and a 7100, with 3.8. We'd like to have the same calendar on each of our BB calendar screens, with the ability for each of us to manipulate that same calendar. But we would want to maintain our own email boxes on Outlook. Thanks.

Consider asking in the BES Admin group here, the BES guys may not read this forum as often as that one.

You can sync to multiple calendars in Exchange but only one will be the primary. I'm not certain on this but I believe that the primary is the only one that will "truly sync" (the secondary is view-only IIRC). Check under Intellisync settings in Desktop Manager. Obviously, you need to set them up with access to each others calendars in Exchange.

Cool Syncing with another calendar

We are running 4.1 and the problem that I have is that someone wants to sync with someone else's calendar. We don't run the desktop service. Everything is done wirelessly through the server. How do I go about fixing this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You must have Desktop Manager installed and you must sync calendars via Desktop Manager. Once you've done this, you can specify the seconday calendar in Intellisync. Oc course, the person needs to have access to the other calendar as a prerequisite.

Default Boss calendar access

The computer will need to be running at all times for the desktop manager to work, correct?

Nope -- you just need it up long enough to configure Intellisync (redirector requires that you leave the PC up and running 24/7). Of course, the calendars won't update until synced by cable.
