I'm cruising by my local Sprint joint tomorrow morning, right after I drop my truck for service. They said I could wait at the dealership for it but I insisted on a loaner car so I could shoot right over to Sprint.
Gotta love that Sprint Premier status; upgrades every 12 months instead of every 22 months.

Rambo, if you could also advise us how much it will cost as a Sprint Premier customer. Just a little curious, although I am doubting my wife will go for it!

Will be curious to see if you can get it in the store yet. I thought that it was only online/telesales this week, then in stores next week. Kudos (and jealousy!) if you can get it today.
Mine still hasn't shipped yet.... waiting [somewhat] patiently....

Boo! They don't have 'em in stores at all yet, maybe not until the 21st. My guy runs a small independent Sprint store (part of a chain of 4 in the area, family-run) and thinks he can get me one maybe as early as Wednesday, and for maybe as low as $150 after rebates. The guy was expecting to get a demo unit that he was going to give to me, but his brother is the boss of all the 4 stores and took the lone unit for himself. Bastard.
But for the kind of discounts he's talking about getting me, I guess I can put my need for instant gratification on hold for a couple of days. It will be tough, but I just have to keep my eye on the prize.

That's awesome. I am still waiting to hear more about the CDMA 9800 before I make a decision. I am a premier customer as well and well beyond my upgrade point.

I'd like to hear more about that too, but I think the earliest sprint might get it is Q4. So, by then I"ll be close to another upgrade.

...and double the memory of the 9630 (rumor has it the 9650 will be able to load OS 6.0, and the 9630 may not).

See, I luck out. If they ship via UPS, my buddy works nights at the local hub. I give him a jingle, have him pick it, and then I stop by his house... Works every time!
