With Verizon, I'm getting readyto upgrade phones and leaning towards a blackberry.
I work in a area with ZERO cell Signal, so I need a device that can do a lot via wifi.

Main pupose would be to keep in touch with my personal life while in the office.

so, via wifi can I BBM (PIN)? and/or text message?

If you have a BB data plan - which Verizon requires you to have with a BB - you can use email, BBM, and other RIM related services via WiFi. If you have no cell signal, then you will not have SMS/text messaging as that is dependent upon the cell signal, not data or WiFi.

Ok thanks.. this would be with the new tour 2 with Verizon if it ever comes out. I am getting the data plan as well.
