BB 7520 is an iDEN device which only works on iDEN networks, NEXTEL/MiKE 900MHz the 7250 is a CDMA device which communicates on the 900/1800 1xRTT signal.

The 7520 also has a speakerphone, and imbedded GPS.

7250 CDMA 1XRTT/EVDO works on 800/1900MHz (not 900/1800).
