If the ESM version is 6.5.7638 sp2, will this work in a co-exist situation after the besadmin mailbox is moved to exch2007?

The 4.1.6 bes is still running on win2000, and 1.2.1 mapicdo clients don't install on that os.

would prefer to upgrade bes os (and move to bes 5.x) after migrating...

update: in lab, without installing 1.2.1 mapicdo, the besadmin profile was able to resolve okay. was able to send email from bes admin utility, which i assume would prove that mapi access to e2k7 mailbox is functional.

may be one of those try-it situations...and then see if syncing works.

NEVER MIND.

even though win2000 isn't mentioned on the requirements for mapicdo client 1.2.1, it installed just fine in a lab.

if using ESM 2003 SP2 on BES, run microsoft update (knot windows update) and you should be all set with latest version.
