Default RBC Mobile

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone use the RBC Mobile site? And if so, are you able to actually click the "Banking" link right after logging in? It doesn't work for me on my 9700. the "Sign Out" link on the same screen works, but not the main one. It's also showing up as a blue underlined link, but when I mouse over, nothing happens.

Just contacted RBC's tech support and they confirm nothing is wrong with their site, so it's probably the BB's fault.

Any reason for the browser to decide a certain link in a page just doesn't exist?

Thanks

You using the app? When i googled it and went to their page i see choices for blackberry and iphone and a link for mobile banking.

If you are just using the mobile banking link it may have that content in flash which cant be seen on the phone

its not actually an app, it just puts a shortcut to the mobile site in your icons. and pretty sure it's not flash. it used to work, and the site doesn't seem to be any different, just all of a sudden the link doesn't work

Hm, okay so that pretty much means it's my phone's fault. What could be causing that? OS?

they might have made it a pop up or java? check browser settings.

open the browser, push the blackberry button, go to options>browser config>look for 2 checkboxes. enable javascript and allow popups, both are disabled by default on new berries

You can also try the ever popular battery pull reset and see if that works.

Yeah I've done a bazillion battery pulls to no avail. The java thing didn't work either. I don't know, hopefully the next time I update the OS it fixes it. Or maybe I will reinstall the version I have now. *shrug* the weird thing is it's only that ONE link that's an issue. any other links I click in the browser work fine

Long shot, but did you try emptying the Browser Cache?

Yeah tried that too. No success. I see there's a new OS out for the 9700. I might try that when I have a minute.

you're going to the link manually, not through a bookmark right? Clear out All your cache on the browser, close it immediately, then relaunch and goto the main URL directly; try the mobile link.

Yeah I tried all those steps to the letter with no success. Updated to the new OS and it works fine now. Maybe something was just corrupted in the browser app or something.
